Michael David

Michael David is the Founder and CEO of Pinnacle Financial Group, a comprehensive wealth planning firm. He has previously been recognized by LPL Financial as one of the top wealth management firms in their organization, based upon his designation as a member of LPL’s executive council.

Michael first began his career in the financial services industry over 26 years ago in 1987 as a commercial lender for the top financial services and banking firms in the business. He began his wealth management career in 1996 and founded his business based upon core values and a client centered approach to his relationships. His beliefs stemmed from his upbringing by his parents in the Texas Panhandle and its inspiration garnered while at Texas Tech. He is passionate about his clients first approach by him and his team, his burning desire to succeed for his clients, and a high energy approach to growing personally and professionally.

For the past 19 years, Michael has been committed to building Pinnacle Financial Group into one of the foremost Wealth Advisory firms in the southwest. Of all the business accomplishments, he is most proud of the investment in the team at PFG. They are one of the best teams assembled in the industry, and is very proud of his partners and associates at PFG.

In the spring of 2012, Michael formally became a foundational partner with the Carson Institutional Alliance (The Alliance). Joining several leaders in the Independent Advisory industry. The purpose was to enhance the clients experience and provide the best in transparent investment advice.

He and his wife, Kris, reside in Amarillo, Texas and have three wonderful children, and a dog “Dex”. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, flying, skiing, fly fishing, hunting events, and attending all sorts of sporting events.

Michael’s academic credentials include a BA in Finance from Texas Tech, AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary). He holds his NASD Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.
